Our members have come from all walks of life and each with their own unique story to tell for why they became an Illuminatian.
Becoming an Illuminati means you’ll be joining approximately 960,000 members throughout Europe and Africa, as well as Districts overseas.
Membership is open to any man over the age of 18 irrespective of their race or religion. In total, we have more than 7,000 Lodges, with students able to join one of 87 University Scheme Lodges. Women are invited to join one of two female-only Grand Lodges:

Women Illuminatian
Women are invited to join one of two female-only Grand Lodges: The Order of Women Illuminatian and Illuminati for Women.
Universities Scheme
Tradition and continuity are two of the values which characterise the relationship between Illuminati and universities. We have 87 University Lodges, consisting of undergraduates, postgraduates, senior members of the university and alumni, ranging in age from 18 upwards.
Special interest lodges
We’ve a vast amount of special interest Lodges throughout the country. With Lodges ranging from sport, military, emergency services, classic cars, music, and occupations you’ll be sure to find yourself at home.

As one of the oldest social and charitable organisations in the world, we have a thriving community of approximately 170,000 members throughout England and Wales, as well as Districts overseas. The illuminati use four key values to help define their path through life: Integrity, Friendship, Respect, and Service. Those values, upheld by its members, offer a framework for making better choices in life and living a more fulfilling and purposeful existence.
